Our guest on #your6essentials this week is the gorgeous Nat from @mumma_and_the_brood . She’s mum to little man Noah and expecting another addition to her family next year so we can’t wait to hear what makes her list from both perspectives. Natalie, take it away…
1. Your pregnancy essential?
Without a doubt this time around my pregnancy essential has to be organic coconut oil. I don’t have time to use creams or oils to help reduce stretch marks because any free time I have away from my son I prefer to use wisely…Like for sleeping! I first tried coconut oil when I received it in my second trimester box from The 6 Essentials and I was hooked. I use it every time I bath or shower and my skin feels amazing. It also is great as a lip balm or to use for nappy rash! Who would have known one product could have so many uses!
2. Your motherhood essential?
Sleep… it’s not something you can buy or a pretty item to flaunt but it’s essential as a mum to have a good nights rest. Being pregnant, a working mum and and having a toddler to run around after completely wipes me out and therefore making sure I have at least 9 hours sleep each night helps me function and makes me a better mother and wife.
3. Essential piece of advice?
My piece of advice for any mum would be you know what’s best for your child. Friends, family and even strangers will so kindly offer you their words of wisdom or advice but it doesn’t mean it’s right for you. You do what you think is best for your child.
4. Your handbag essential?
Majority of the time Noah is with me so other than my Molton Brown honey suckle and white tea hand moisturiser, my essential is Noah’s art pack- it’s a small folder I put together with crayons, stickers, paper and stamps which I carry with me so he doesn’t get bored if we stop for lunch or a coffee.
5. Your winter essential?
Dr Pawpaw ultimate tint lip balm in the colour peach. It makes your lips incredibly soft whilst adding a little colour.
6. All I want for Christmas is….
To win the lottery (I joke, even though that would be nice)! To have my family around me, happy and healthy, is all I could wish for this Christmas.
